The line
holds, or it doesn’t.

A failing seawall is a slow-motion emergency — your yard is leaving one bucket of erosion at a time. We rebuild walls with the same materials and detailing the engineering plans actually called for, backed by a 20-year structural warranty.

01 · Materials

Three systems.
One that fits your site.

The right answer depends on soil, water depth, exposure, and how tall the wall has to come up. Here’s how we choose.

SYS · A

Vinyl Sheet + Concrete Cap

Most popular · residential standard

Cost
$380–$500 per linear foot installed.
Best for
Standard residential exposure, walls under 8 ft above mudline.
Why
Won’t rust, won’t rot, easy to detail with a clean concrete cap that doubles as a dock anchor.
Warranty

20-year structural · vinyl manufacturer-backed.

SYS · B

Cast-in-place Concrete

Premium · estate-grade

Cost
$600–$2,000 per linear foot installed.
Best for
Custom homes where the wall is the architecture; tall exposed walls; commercial properties.
Why
Massive, monolithic, can be formed with returns, steps, and integrated lighting channels.
Warranty

25-year structural · fully detailed at corners.

SYS · C

Wood Seawall

Budget-friendly · sheltered shorelines

Cost
$275–$375 per linear foot installed.
Best for
Protected canals, smaller residential exposure, lower-budget rebuilds.
Why
Pressure-treated marine timber on driven pilings. Faster install and easier to detail than vinyl on tight-access sites.
Warranty

15-year structural · pressure-treated marine timber.

02 · Warning signs

Five things that mean
your wall is in trouble.

01 · Lean & tilt

More than 1″ out of plumb at the cap means the tie-back system is failing. The lean accelerates fast once it starts.

02 · Sinkholes behind the wall

Soil washing out at the cap line means water is passing through the wall and taking your yard with it. Usually a torn filter cloth.

03 · Stains & weep

Rust on concrete = exposed rebar. Brown weep on vinyl = soil bleeding through. Both are repairable if caught early.

04 · Cracked cap

Vertical or stepped cracks mean structural movement. We can stitch repair some — others require full re-pour.

05 · Storm displacement

After a named storm, even a wall that looks intact can have shifted off its tie-backs. Always worth a 30-minute inspection.

03 · Process

How a seawall
actually gets built.

Most homeowners have never watched one go in. Here’s the short version so you know what to expect when our barge shows up.

  1. Day 1–2

    Mobilize & demo

Barge, vibratory driver, and crew on-site. Existing wall removed in sections; tie-backs cut and pulled.

  2. Day 2–4

    Drive panels

Vinyl sheets driven with vibratory hammer; wood walls set against driven pilings. Crane-set if water depth requires it. Tie-backs and deadmen set in parallel.

  3. Day 4–5

    Cap & backfill

Concrete cap formed, poured, finished. Backfill placed in lifts with filter fabric between soil and wall.

  4. Day 5–6

    Restore yard

Grade out, sod or seed, ramp removed, site swept. Final inspection scheduled, warranty paperwork delivered.

04 · Common questions

Seawall questions, answered.

$275–$2,000 per linear foot installed, depending on material, height, and site conditions. Wood runs $275–$375/LF, vinyl-sheet with concrete cap $380–$500/LF, and cast-in-place concrete $600–$2,000/LF for premium and commercial work. We bring real numbers to the site visit.
Sometimes. If the lean is under 2″ and the panels are intact, we can drive new deadmen and re-tie. If the wall has structural failure or the panels are compromised, replacement is the only honest answer — we’ll tell you which one your wall needs.
Yes — same DEP / ACOE / county trio as docks. Like-for-like replacements have a shorter cycle than new installations, but everything is permitted. We handle the entire process.
Absolutely — and the cap is the right place to anchor it. We engineer the cap with attachment hardware in place if you’re planning a dock in the next few years.
A typical residential rebuild is 5–7 days on-site. Your yard will look like a construction zone for that week. We restore the lawn at the end, but irrigation and landscaping past 4 feet from the wall stays out of scope unless you ask.
