Boat Lift Covers & Canopies on the Space Coast

Sun, salt and storm season are hard on a boat. A cover over the lift keeps the hull out of the weather and the water.

Capital Marine Construction is now a dealer for Coastline Boat Lift Covers, a manufacturer of custom canopy and lift-cover systems.

Why Cover the Lift

A lift gets the hull out of the water. A cover gets it out of the sun. On the Space Coast, UV and afternoon storms do real damage to gelcoat, upholstery and canvas, and a covered boat is also far easier to keep clean.

  • Shade for the hull, seats and electronics
  • Keeps rain, bird droppings and debris off the boat
  • Cuts the cleaning and wax cycle
  • A finished look for the whole dock

How It Works With Us

We start at the dock. We look at the lift, the pilings and the boat, talk through frame and fabric options, and quote the cover as a single, clear job. If you need a new lift, the lift and the cover can be planned together so the pilings and the frame line up from the start.

Every property is different, so we quote after the site visit rather than guessing from a photo.

Lift and Cover as One Job

If you are adding a lift, it is cheaper and cleaner to plan the canopy at the same time than to bolt one on later. Piling spacing, power and clearance are all easier to set once. Already have a lift? We can look at it and tell you honestly whether it suits a cover.

Common Questions

Do I need approval from my HOA before ordering a cover?

Many waterfront communities regulate lift covers and canopies, including color and height. Check with your HOA or architectural committee first. We can talk through the specs you will need for the request.

Will a boat lift cover survive a hurricane?

No cover should be treated as hurricane-rated. Follow the manufacturer guidance for taking fabric down and securing the frame ahead of a named storm, and do not leave a boat on a lift in a hurricane.

Can I add a cover to the lift I already own?

Often yes, depending on the lift type and the pilings. We look at the lift in person and confirm whether it can take a cover before you order anything.

How much does a lift cover cost?

Every situation is different, so we price it after we measure the lift. Reach out and we will set up a site visit.

Request a site visit

  1. We call you back to talk through the site.
  2. Site visit to look at the water, the structure and the shoreline.
  3. Written plan and quote for the job.
  4. Permits and scheduling, then we build.

“Outstanding job! Very happy with the care that was given to the surrounding properties and common grounds while redoing our seawall.”
